This is the seventh year that the Walter Camp Football Foundation will honor one offensive and one defensive player as its national Bowl Subdivision player of the week during the regular season. Recipients are selected by a panel of national media members and administered by the Walter Camp Football Foundation.

October 16 is Walter Camp Day at the Yale Bowl
The Walter Camp Football Foundation in conjunction with the Yale-NH Hospital Auxiliary Toy Closets Program is asking fans to bring a new unwrapped toy* to support the cause and in return, receive a free general admission ticket to the game.
Saturday, October 16 will be the Walter Camp Day at the Bowl when the Yale University Bulldogs host the Rams of Fordham University at 12 noon.

"Walter Camp was one of the giants of football in the United States. He stands with Stagg, Rockne, Thorpe, Warner, Heffelfinger in the imprint they made upon the game.
