2010 Player of the Year Watch List Announced
Alabama junior running back Mark Ingram, a 2009 Walter Camp First Team All-American, headlines the watch list.
The Walter Camp Football Foundation has announced the names of thirty “players to watch” for its 2010 Player of the Year award, the nation’s fourth-oldest individual college football accolade.

TCU’s Gary Patterson Named Walter Camp Coach of the Year
Gary Patterson, head coach of the undefeated and Fiesta Bowl-bound TCU Horned Frogs, has been named the Walter Camp 2009 Coach of the Year.
Patterson is the first coach from the Mountain West Conference to earn the award.
Notre Dame-West Haven Named Walter Camp Kelly Award Recipient
The Green Knights (11-1) won the Connecticut State Class L title and earned the #1 ranking in all three state polls.
It is the second time that Notre Dame has earned the Kelly Award (1991). It also marks the seventh time since 1994 that a Southern Connecticut Conference school has earned the Kelly Award (Cheshire 1994 and 1995; Hand 1997, 2004; West Haven 2002; and Xavier 2005).

University of Texas senior quarterback Colt McCoy (Tuscola, TX) has been selected as the 2009 Walter Camp Football Foundation Player of the Year. Foundation President Alphonse Paolillo, Jr. made the announcement tonight during ESPN’s 6 p.m. edition of SportsCenter.
